YOUR INSTRUCTORS
Jarrad Arbuckle has over 22 years of training in Martial Arts and Combatives. Studying in many disciplines including Boxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, Catch Wrestling, Kung Fu, Kali and Silat. He has a Masters Degree in Kung Fu and is an instructor in the Mastro Defence System and R. He is also a member of Team Storm in Defence Lab. Darryl DeGonia has over 38 years in Martial Arts and Combatives. He teaches Edge Weapons Defense, Practical Gun Self-Defense and holds a Masters Degree in Kung Fu.
Together they operate Advanced Self-Defense Concepts (ASD Concepts), an academy located in Southern California, aimed as a forum to give students the most effective and efficient methods possible in self defense and protection.
ASD is home to the Los Angeles Chapter of the Libre Knife Fighting System. The Libre Knife Fighting System is a brutal and aggressive form of knife combatives, which was developed for modern-day threats. This methodology was specifically designed to be utilized in conjunction with smaller fixed-blades and folding knives that are commonly carried in today's society.
